The engineering task

The customer needs to understand how a real vehicle and charging station interact, then investigate controller communication in a controlled setup.

The configured workflow

Passive gateway operation records the real charging partners without changing their messages. Synchronized communication, voltage, current and timing information can be correlated in comframe. The setup also includes ComOnly simulation for EVCC and SECC testing.

Optional extensions

Power-loop functionality, Manipulating Gateway and Charge Playback are possible expansion paths described in the project material. They are distinct from the delivered passive measurement and controller-testing functions.
