The engineering task

The customer needed to investigate charging behaviour at high power and reproduce communication sequences already observed in the field.

The installed configuration

The 38 HU EVCA Flex rack combines the configured charging interfaces with a 400 kW bidirectional source. Liquid-cooled CCS1, CCS2 and NACS connections support the selected test configurations.

From field trace to laboratory test

Charge Playback allows the customer to use charging recordings from its field measurement system as a basis for laboratory reproduction. The reported 350 kW test-system class and 400 kW source rating describe different parts of this installation.
