The engineering task

The manufacturer needed to extend its established test capability as charging systems and validation tasks evolved.

The upgrade

The project adds high-power EVCA testing and IEC 61851-23 electrical fault-test functions. A separate 5 kW source gives the existing protocol bench a practical power setup.

Keeping the test tasks distinct

The high-power installation and the compact source serve different activities. The 5 kW rating belongs to the existing protocol bench, not to the entire upgraded validation system.
